The historical San Martin’s route, who freedom Argentina crossing the Andes, is a best-seller. This day full of emotions brings us to Potrerillos lake, Picheuta, Penitentes, the beauty of Uspallata and the famous and mysterious Puente del Inca (Inca Bridge). A 1 to 2 hours hike in the Aconcagua National Park (if weather permitting), watching the beauty of the Sentinel with its 6.962m/22.800ft is the highlight of this day tour, just before a nice traditional lunch.
• 7:30AM – departure
• 08:30AM – Stop at Potrerillos lake, picture of the dam and Cordon del Plata mountains
• 09:30AM – Breakfast at Uspallata
• 11AM – Aconcagua Park. Hike regarding weather and passenger health (3200m/10500ft)
• 1:30PM – Puente del Inca
• 3PM – Lunch BBQ/Asado (vegetarian option at booking)
• 6PM – Drop off Mendoza Center hotels
