Arrival to “Cucharita” Bay. Snack.

Kayaking restart along the Beagle Channel.

Arrival to Cauquenes Bay, Ushuaia.

Kayaking tour Details & Specifications

Medium / hard. 3 hs.

Meals during the tour are a box-lunch with chip potatoes, cheese, salami, olives. 1 Chicken sandwich with caramelized onions and dehydrated tomatoes. 1 Apple and 1 cereal bar. Mineral water.

The necessary equipment is Double sea kayak, neoprene or drysuit, boots, spray skirt and life jacket, kayak safety gear, VHF radio.

The suggested clothing and stuff are waterproof trekking boots and jacket, warm clothing, an extra pair of socks. Lightweight sweaters. 1 wool ski cap, “buff”, a small backpack or similar bag with shoulder straps, for carrying a camera and other gear, sunglasses with UV protection, sunscreen, an extra pair of socks.

Tours in Sea Kayak are done using seaworthy double kayaks with a covered deck with steering gear. We do not require previous experience, but we do expect from the passengers the following: to be able to swim, a good physical condition, “team player” and a positive attitude, to be respectful of the Nature elements and to follow closely our guides indications. This is the only excursion that could be canceled due to wind conditions. The guide will have the responsibility to decide if the security conditions are adequate or not to start the tour and, in case this was not possible, he will offer other optional activities or refunds.
